Horizon Unbounded CD

About Horizon Unbounded

Recorded in Lincoln, NE, the CD was produced by Steve Hanson, the string wizard of the midwest. Steve played acoustic lead and rhythm guitar, electric guitar, slide guitar, mandolin, and electric bass on the recording. He also sang harmony vocals. Steve has won national competitions for his banjo, mandolin, and guitar playing. He finished first place in banjo at both the Winfield (KS) National Bluegrass Festival in 1978 and the Telluride (CO) Bluegrass Festival in 1992. He finished second in guitar at both Winfield in 1979 and Telluride in 1992, as well as second in mandolin at Telluride that year.

The fiddle player is Len Springer of Lafayette, LA. Len is an eleven-year veteran of the Nashville music scene, having toured with Donna Fargo and Brenda Lee, in addition to playing in Music City recording sessions.
